GAPS 2.0

The Alumni Development Program Suite
Alumni Relations + Development
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA
Four programs · one integrating layer
GAPS 2.0 is a four-program suite that turns a student's campus chapter into a lifelong partnership with InterVarsity — activating giving at graduation, closing new alumni partners at scale, and stewarding those relationships for life. The four programs don't run in isolation: a single integrating layer keeps them moving together.
The Four Programs
Program 1

GAPS Core

Staff training + incentive structures that activate alumni giving at graduation.

Program 2

ACE

A focused sprint that closes new alumni partner commitments at scale.

Program 3

GAPS Premium

Thanking + reporting that retains shared-account donors for life.

Program 4

Data & Org Stewardship

Guides new givers into the right lifetime partnership — metrics, giving tracks, and legacy / mid-level / major-gift handoffs.

The Integrator

The layer that ties all four together

The GAPS 2.0 Program Administrator is the program's integrating layer — maintaining the shared systems, routing cross-team communication, and keeping a distributed, high-performing team moving together in alignment with program-wide goals. When this role works well, the whole suite advances on time and with coherence.

The anchor goal — grow shared-account giving to the threshold at which GAPS 2.0 reaches full cost-neutrality and sustains meaningful investment in alumni engagement across the field. Alumni already represent over 40% of InterVarsity's total national support.
